He acted in the national WGBH broadcast of "Turf" which won the 1996 Achievement in Radio award.


In 2002 Paul relocated to SFL, when he was hired by Palm Beach's WXEL.  In addition to hosting a weekly Saturday night show, Paul was heard daily. He produced WXEL's local programs "On The Money," "Florida Forum" and "The American Senior Side Show" and was side kick to Skipper Chuck Zink on his big Bands show. Often Paul was substitute host for Morning Edition, All Things Considered and Joanna Marie's Classical Variations. He also anchored the WXEL/Sun-Sentinel Newscasts. Paul interviewed many local and national celebrities and community arts leaders, including Caldwell Theatre's Michael Hall, Charles Nelson Reilly and "Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me" panelist, Paula Poundstone.


Paul was called to Miami to serve as Fundraising Producer for WLRN.  Since 2006, at WLRN, Paul is an on air host, producer and handles operations. On this website - PL has been hosting "Broadway Edition" featuring the best of South Florida Theater and Broadway music.


Paul can occasionally be heard on 97.3 The Coast and 93 Rock reporting traffic in Miami and on 93.7 The Breeze and NewsRadio 1490 WTTB in the treasure coast. 


More recently, Paul joined forces with broadcast partner QueerChannel.TV, which features interviews with nonprofit South Florida GLBT organizations and events and broadcasted a weekly Newscast co-produced by South Florida Blade.   In June 2009 joined the board of directors No More Tears.


In August 2009, joined the Board of Directors of Pride of Greater Fort Lauderdale an organization that promotes GLBT issues with community events “Wicked Manors” and the annual Stonewall Pride Parade in Wilton Manors, FL.


Right now, Paul is focused on hosting “Broadway Edition” an online show featuring South Florida theatre and touring Broadway Shows.

Paul Leary began his performance career at the ripe age of 10 when he crawled into acting classes at Boston's Suffolk University.  At 15 he was the youngest person to be certified producer at Boston Neighborhood Network Television – then interviewed "The Elephant Show" stars Sharon, Lois & Bram.

He had acted extensively in the Boston area and enrolled at Emerson College where he excelled in theater performance.   At the same time he served in the Public Relations and
