Paul Leary grew up in South Boston, Massachusetts and began his
performance career at the ripe age of 10 when he “crawled” into acting
class at Boston's Suffolk University. At 15 he was the youngest person to
be certified producer at Boston Neighborhood Network Television –
then interviewed "The Elephant Show" stars Sharon, Lois & Bram.
He had acted extensively in the Boston area and enrolled at Emerson College and excelled in theater performance. At the same time he served in the Public Relations and Marketing Department at The Children's Museum in Boston. Look closely at the film “Good Will Hunting” and you might see Paul as an extra in the bar scenes. He acted in the national WGBH broadcast of "Turf" which won the 1996 Achievement in Radio award.

Early 2009 through 2011, Leary joined forces with broadcast partner QueerChannel.TV, which features interviews with nonprofit South Florida GLBT organizations and events and broadcasted a weekly Newscast co-produced by South Florida Blade Newspaper. In June 2009 joined the board of directors No More Tears, Inc.
During the Summer and Fall of 2009, served on the Board of Directors of Pride of Greater Fort Lauderdale (Stonewall Pride, Inc.) an organization that promotes GLBT issues with community events “Wicked Manors” and the annual Stonewall Pride Parade in Wilton Manors, FL.
Right now, in addition to his daily duties with broadcast partner WLRN and serving as weekend host, Paul is focused on producing “Broadway Edition” radio interviews that air on South Florida Arts Beat Radio and an online show featuring South Florida Theatre and touring Broadway Shows. Paul has interviewed Broadway Legends Chita Rivera and Mandy Patinkin, Sandra Burnhard, Cheyenne Jackson, Anthony Rapp and Tony© winner Melba Moore to name a few.
