Storyteller / monologist Coco Peru is a drag performer who grew up in the Bronx on City Island and got her start as a downtown favorite in the cabaret world of New York City. On screen, Coco is best known for her roles in feature films, trick the comedy Girls Will Be Girls, plus a classic role in the open sequence of Will & Grace.  She is bringing her one woman show to Miami on Sunday, January 11 to the Colony Theatre.  Recently Paul Leary spoke with Coco on the phone from her Los Angeles home.
